The TARA Balram is an entry level enterprise with an annual production of 7.5 bricks. The advantage is that the production is scalable. The TARA Balram also provides flexibility of production of bricks at multiple sites. The benefits of TARA Balram are appreciated by BALCO, UNICEF who have used the fly ash bricks in construction of rural houses and village infrastructure.
The TARA Balram produces two standard sizes of bricks in each cycle with daily production of 1250 bricks. The strength and quality of the product is varied by changing the design mix composition. In case of the technology package of TARA Mechanized Balram, the TARA Balram is used as a standby system is case of electricity breakdown to utilize pre-prepared mix.

Production Process
The process comprises of mixing the raw materials using the pan mixer for 4-5 minutes and then transferring the material to the TARA Balram Mechanized machines. The compressed blocks are then transferred to a curing yard with the help of wooden pallets on which the blocks are placed and moved using a hydraulic pallet trolley. The blocks are then water cured for minimum 14 days. After 14 days of curing bricks are kept for 7 days in dried place, after that they are ready for sale. The composition of a typical Fly Ash bricks is
- Fly ash - 50-70%
- Coarse Sand -20-30%
- Lime - 8-12%
- Gypsum - 3-4%
